Things I like about this city which is otherwise completely awful--

Kline
It's peaceful
I've leveled up considerably
I have met decent human beings
I have learned more about many worlds, as royalty should.

Things I completely hate about this city.

No father.
I'm being held against my will here.
No father.
There's nowhere that sells good healing items.
I understand less and less about human beings the more I learn about them.

...It is a curse, none of it is to be taken seriously of course, except for the second list.

Twenty-sixth Cliché

It's been six months to the day I first arrived. I can't believe it, to be perfectly honest...Six months of being subjected to all sorts of curses and other worlds and foolish nonsense that I would have never seen in Veldime or any sort of Netherworld. I haven't seen hide nor hair of Tink or Adell or Father and while I haven't given up hope, I don't think about them coming here--or me leaving here, as much anymore.

Have I gone crazy? Have I...adjusted to this place? To it's people and deities, twisted curses and all?

Pretty soon it will be another six months. And another, until it piles into years. If I don't find my way home, that is...

Have I...grown any? Would you be proud, Father?

... I am thinking too much. What is six months in the eyes of a demon anyway? It's hardly a drop in the bucket.

...Ahh! Everyone's wishes really are coming true today. I peeked into the mailbox and I found an envelope stamped with Father's seal...by the looks of it, it truly is from him.

Though, I wish to see him as well. Perhaps that's why they sent a photo? He looks mad, but...I can't wait to read it, let's see.

My Dear Rozalin, I can only hope this letter finds you. I entrusted it to someone I know can deliver it. (If they don't succeed, I made sure to let them know they'd pay dearly for it.)

[Noises of someone clanking around in a kitchen, and turning pages in book] Let's see here...eggs are the easiest to make, are they? Well, now that I know scrambled eggs...

Boiled eggs looks like it takes far too long, so lets skip that. Sunny side up looks--ugh, runny. Scotch eggs look horribly unhealthy, and steamed eggs? I'm not sure I can do that just yet, what other...

--Poached eggs? Why would you need to steal eggs just for a recipe? Do stolen ones simply taste better? I personally can't see the difference. Is there any more--?

Coddled. Coddled. Really, why would you need to be nice to an egg before you cook it? Human recipes are simply beyond me...

No, actually, it is true. And after being surrounded by human beings for so long I fear I have become...compassionate. I was considering getting a job working with animals just a few days ago.

...Does the city get a kick out of making half of it's citizens into vicious killers at least once a month, or is it just me noticing that?

--Not that that's a bad thing of course. Just inconvenient. I sound more and more human every day... It makes me wonder why some people haven't campaigned for Overlord here. All you have to do is beat the Dark Council into submission, right?

...Right, there isn't one here. And no Item World.

I haven't gained levels in forever, what is this-- Is there anyone out there who'd mind giving me an hour of their time to...practice training? I won't kill anyone, I promise. Really.

Only one of the hearts with my name on it is true. Honestly, how can someone mistake my father with me? As great as his achievements are...I certainly can't take credit for his title or his slaughter.

Other than that, none of these secrets are too incredibly interesting. There's quite a few more murderers than I expected taking residence, though~ Maybe I should recruit some of you as vassals? Though without my title here, it'd be a bit useless...
